Monard Law renovates in Brussels
Monard Law one of the leading independent law firms in Belgium moved in 2003 to the Avenue de Tervuren in Brussels. Three years later, their fourth floor was in need of a thorough renovation. Monard Law decided to stay at the same address but on a different floor.
In perfect harmony with the requirements of a profession
Frédéric Lettany, lawyer at Monard Law and in charge of the project: “Our profession imposes specific requirements. Our work is confidential and our offices should reflect discretion. At the same time we were looking for a feeling of brightness and transparency. Moreover, we have offices in Hasselt, Ghent and Antwerp. That’s why we also wanted a meeting place for our colleagues and enough workspace at their disposal.”
Never change a winning team
“Four companies showed their plans based on our expectations for the division and the optimization of our workspace. Attractiveness and feasibility of the plans coupled with a reasonable budget were the highlights of Alternativ. So we turned to them, especially as we had teamed up with these workplace specialists before, in 2003 when we moved to the Avenue de Tervuren. We quickly found ourselves on familiar ground.”
A frank collaboration
“The main challenge was interwoven with our discipline. The offices and meeting rooms must be soundproof to ensure confidentiality. At the same time we wanted light, airy and transparent offices. Alternativ has carried out this mission. My colleagues and our customers are delighted. This is a great achievement due in large part to the accessibility of Alternative during the entire project. The sales manager and the designer remain in close contact. We did not have the slightest problem to find an interlocutor to discuss the selection of the furniture or the colours. Looking back, I am very pleased with our frank collaboration”, concludes Frédéric Lettany.
