It must simply be attuned to your employees\u2019 tasks, who you are as an organisation, and the image you wish to project. So, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternativ.be\/en\/seo\/office-design-nwow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">modern office<\/a> is not necessarily the best match for every business. In short: <strong>office design<\/strong> must always be tailored to individual requirements!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-office-design-according-to-activities\">Office design according to activities&#8230;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideally, your <strong>office design<\/strong> must take account of the activities on the work floor. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternativ.be\/en\/this-is-how-to-design-a-working-space-for-lawyers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lawyer&#8217;s office<\/a> will differ from an office for a marketing agency, for example. You must assess <strong>which tasks<\/strong> your employees carry out, using a survey, for example.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Do they often receive customers and would they rather do that in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternativ.be\/en\/setting-up-your-conference-room-3-focus-areas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">meeting room<\/a> or in the coffee corner?&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Do they need to <strong>brainstorm<\/strong>, and will that work best in a space with a more light-hearted appearance?&nbsp;<\/li><li>Do they take dozens of telephone calls a day or do they tend to sit and quietly work on their laptops?&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You may have already noticed from the questions: needs may vary between teams and, ideally, your <strong>office design <\/strong>must take account of this.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>&#8230; and then there\u2019s the level of usage&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Second, you need to think about the <strong>level of usage<\/strong>. Nowadays, it\u2019s safe to assume that you won&#8217;t find everyone in the office every day. Perhaps you no longer need <strong>permanent desks<\/strong> because home-working has become the new normal? The answer to this question can sometimes have far-reaching consequences. If you have a choice to opt for a <strong>smaller office<\/strong> within your co-working space, for example, it might be worth making the move.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>At home in the office&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, you should also ask your team members exactly what they need to <strong>feel at home<\/strong> in the office. That feeling is what makes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternativ.be\/en\/office-design-makes-the-move-worthwhile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the journey from home to work worthwhile<\/a>. You can generate this sense of being &#8216;at home\u2019 with spaces which reinforce <strong>togetherness<\/strong> and which offer the necessary comforts. This could include cosy rugs (which also improve <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternativ.be\/en\/acoustics-in-offices-and-working-areas-source-of-irritation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">acoustics<\/a>), soft chairs, warm lighting, curtains, plants and an inviting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternativ.be\/en\/brands\/extremis-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">terrace<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>We will deliver a tailor-made office design&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ve got it: <strong>office design<\/strong> is a question of customisation.
