Nevertheless, they don&#8217;t always make employees happy. Collaboration may improve in these \u2018open offices\u2019 but they often fail to deliver a location which provides peace and quiet. <strong>Flexible working<\/strong> means being able to choose the right place in the office: from breakout areas to brainstorming zones, and from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternativ.be\/en\/setting-up-your-conference-room-3-focus-areas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">meeting rooms<\/a> to telephone bubbles. The ideal office provides all of these options.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Less traffic please&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many employees cite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternativ.be\/en\/acoustics-in-offices-and-working-areas-source-of-irritation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bad acoustics as a source of irritation<\/a>. It\u2019s highly likely that your employees will be more tempted to come into the office if there are fewer colleagues <strong>walking around<\/strong> between the desks. That is why it may be useful to implement a system where some of the workstations are available for reservation and the rest can be used on a \u2018<strong>first come, first served<\/strong>\u2019 basis. When a workstation is reserved or in use, you can clearly indicate this using a <strong>sign<\/strong> or similar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Flexible working, flexible seating&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, you will keep your employees happy in the office by offering them<strong> various types of seating<\/strong>.
