Established back in 1976, Lexitech <\/strong>was purchased in 2015 by the former banker, Geert Vanderhaeghe, who is now both owner and General Manager. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lexitech<\/a>, which specialises in translating technical documents<\/strong>, intends gradually to expand its range of services to capitalise on the great work of its twelve staff in providing multi-language translations<\/strong>, as well as technologies <\/strong>and total solutions<\/strong> for managing and disseminating content aimed at large companies (DHL, Fedex, D\u2019Ieteren, etc.) and public service clients.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Based previously in Auderghem, Lexitech recently relocated to offices of 320 square metres on the 9th floor of n\u00b0 1 Avenue des Arts \u2013 right in the heart of the Madou city centre area<\/strong>, with its many handy urban features, including metro links and restaurants, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The view out over Brussels from the 9th floor is breathtaking, but in the beginning not every agreed that the offices looked as good\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere was lots of very dark wood everywhere \u2013 a bit like one of the sets from Mad Men,\u201d recalls Geert Vanderhaeghe wryly. But this retro-look ambiance was all before he commissioned Alternativ to provide a complete design<\/strong> and refit<\/strong> for his business offices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, who these days would want to work in an office as grey as a leaden sky in Brussels on a rainy Monday? No one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little by little, fusty old traditional offices everywhere are being transformed into creative working environments<\/strong> that meet the needs of everyone working there, while providing access to the latest information<\/strong> and communication technologies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Two unwelcome guests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the year, with the redevelopment plans<\/strong> for the offices all nicely in place, Alternativ was ready to start work. Everything needed attention: from floor to ceiling, including electrics, installing new walls and partitions \u2013 and so much more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then two unwanted guests threw a spanner into the works: a problem with the road outside, which was resolved without impacting the timing, and\u2026 Covid-19<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI really liked Alternativ\u2019s energy<\/strong>,\u201d enthuses the Lexitech GM, \u201cas well as its no-nonsense willingness to go ahead with the job, despite the health crisis. It was a well put together project, carried out smoothly and within the deadline.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe work was initially scheduled for completion by mid-April, so we could have moved in by the end of that month,\u201d he continues. \u201cInstead we opted to wait until the end of lockdown. But now I have brand-new offices<\/strong> where finally I can be<\/strong> proud of receiving clients<\/strong> \u2013 which was far from the case before,\u201d he concludes, again quickly emphasising the professionalism<\/strong> and efficiency <\/strong>of the teams at Alternative \u2013 not to mention coming in on budget<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
