As an\nemployer federation for healthcare institutions in Wallonia and Brussels,\nSanthea represents the majority of hospitals, as well as retirement (and care)\nhomes, daycare centres, residences – services, psychiatric care homes, mental\nhealth services, rehabilitation centres, sheltered living initiatives, clinical\nbiology and pathological anatomy laboratories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Santhea positions\nitself as the essential point of contact for the authorities, as well as the\npolitical world and other players and providers in the health sector. And if you position yourself as a\nleader, then you need a workspace that is both productive and a vehicle for\nwellbeing \u2013 in particular one with the ability to accommodate all of your staff\nand federation members in one big meeting room. But it wasn\u2019t always like this\u2026\n\u201cSanthea has two main offices, one in Watermael Boitsfort, the other in Loyers,\nnear Namur, in Avenue des Dessus-de-Lives, which is located in Namur Office\nPark. Loyers is just a stone\u2019s throw from the Daussoulx motorway\ninterchange, making it \u201cthe ideal location compromise for most of our staff,\nwho are extremely mobile, as well as for our members,\u201d says Yves Smeets. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ideally\nsituated, perhaps, but\u2026 \u201cFirst of all,\u201d adds the Santhea GM, \u201cthe offices in Building\n4 of Namur Office Park were too cramped. This meant that to host some of our\nmeetings with our members, we had to hire a meeting room somewhere else. Then\nwe wanted to own rather than lease our offices. So we left Building 4 and\nbought a great space of 400 m2<\/sup> in Building 12, also in Namur Office\nPark.\u201d Once that was done, Santhea faced another major challenge: to fit out\nthis new workspace to suit everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From A to Z<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\u201cWe had worked with Alternativ previously,\u201d continues Smeets. \u201cHowever, for the sake of transparency and sound governance, we asked for three proposals from Design & Build companies. After comparing the various price quotes, we could see that Alternativ was both the most competitive and the most attractive for us.  Alternativ was also able to create a genuine relationship based on trust. Once they got down to work, we were able to appreciate the professionalism, creativity and flexibility of the Alternativ team \u2013 from the interior designer right through to their technical people.\u201d\n\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
